FOR SALE IS A DREAMY APRIL 1972 SEIKO 6139-6005 BLUE POGUE. RECENTLY SERVICED AND SUPER SHARP!
- CASE: CLASSIC CUSHION ALL STEEL CASE IN SUPER SHARP AND WELL PRESERVED CONDITION MEASURING 41mm ACROSS CASE NOT INCLUDING CROWN BY 46.8mm LUG TO LUG. REALLY SHARP EDGES ON THIS ONE WITH NO EVIDENCE OF EVER BEING POLISHED. SERIOUSLY NICE EXAMPLE WITH ONLY SOME MINOR SURFACE SCRATCHES AND SMALL DINGS AT THE LUG EDGES. THE PEPSI TACHY BEZEL LOOKING MIGHTY BRILLIANT.
- DIAL: THIS DIAL IS A TOTAL BEAUTY. CRISP COLOR ON THAT BLUE FINISH. THE INTERNAL ROTATING BEZEL SHOWS NO SIGNS OF FADE. THE HANDS AND THE DIAL HAVE REALLY NICELY PRESERVED LUME WITH VERY LITTLE PATINA. SUCH AN AMAZING AND CLEAN EXAMPLE OF A SEIKO CLASSIC.
- MOVEMENT: THIS SEIKO RUNS ON THE FAMOUS COLUMN WHEEL IN-HOUSE CALIBER 6139 WHICH IS RUNNING BEAUTIFULLY. THE DAY/DATE BOTH QUICKSET CRISPLY. THE CHRONO FUNCTION IS SNAPPY AND EXACT. THIS ONE WAS JUST RECENTLY SERVICED.( I WILL NOTE THE CHRONO RESETS JUST A 1/2 MILLIMETER TO THE RIGHT OF ZERO)
WATCH IS MOUNTED ON THE WELL RESPECTED UNCLE SEIKO H-LINK BRACELET IN REALLY SHARP CONDITION. BRACELET CAN ACCOMMODATE AN 8"+ WRIST. THIS IS THE BLUE VARIANT OF THE CLASSIC CHRONO WORN BY COLONEL WILLIAM POGUE IN SPACE ON THE SKYLAB 4 MISSION IN 1973-74. THIS IS A WONDERFUL EXAMPLE READY FOR SOME ACTION!
